Is CBD legal in the UK?
Yes, as long as it’s made from permitted hemp and has no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids like THC per container. CBD you eat or drink, like oils and gummies, also has to be on the FSA’s public list of CBD products. Cannabis and hemp flower are still controlled substances, though.
What is CBD and how does it work?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound in hemp. It doesn’t get you high. It interacts with the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in lots of everyday processes in the body. The research is still going, and in the UK CBD is sold as a food supplement or cosmetic, not a medicine.
How Do I Choose the Right CBD Product for Me?
Think about how you’d like to take it (oil, gummies, cream or vape), how much CBD you want, and your budget. Or just come into the Camden shop and talk it through with us.
Will CBD make me feel high?
No. That’s THC, a different compound in cannabis. CBD doesn’t have that effect.
How do I use CBD products?
There are lots of ways: oils under the tongue, gummies and other edibles, creams and balms on the skin, or vapes. It mostly comes down to what fits into your day.
Where are your products made?
All CannaPower and Royal Hemp Co. products are made in the UK.
Can I take CBD with other Medications?
CBD can interact with some medicines, so please check with your GP or pharmacist before you start.
What makes CannaPower different from other CBD brands?
We run our own shops in Camden, and the people behind the counter actually know the products and will talk you through them face to face. Everything with the CannaPower name on it gets tried by our team and their families first, for taste, quality and value. And it’s all lab tested.
What is CBD isolate?
It’s CBD on its own, with nothing else from the plant: no other cannabinoids, no terpenes, no THC. Full spectrum keeps everything, broad spectrum keeps most things minus the THC, and isolate keeps only the CBD.
How much CBD should I take?
The FSA advises healthy adults to have no more than 10mg a day. Look on the label for how much is in each drop, gummy or serving, start low, and talk to your GP first if you take medication or have a health condition.

How much CBD is in a CBD gummy?
Depends on the product. The number on the tub is the total for the whole pack, so either divide it by the number of gummies or look on the label for the per-gummy amount.

Oil is cheaper per mg and you can adjust it drop by drop. Gummies are already measured out, easier to carry around and taste nicer. It’s the same CBD either way, so really it’s whichever suits you.

How do I know if the product truly has no THC?
Check the lab report. A good brand will have a recent third-party test showing the cannabinoid content, including THC. Every product we sell is lab tested, and many of our product pages have a “View lab report” link.
How should I store CBD oil?
Lid on tight, somewhere cool and dark, out of the sun and away from children. Use it by the date on the bottle.

They are made for experienced users. If you take any medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor first.
Is full spectrum hemp oil the same as CBD oil?
